Description

Provides Cargo Acceptance Personnel with the necessary knowledge on Dangerous Goods labelling and handling, in accordance with IATA DGR Category 7, Table 1.5.A, and provides air cargo shipper personnel involved in the handling, storage, and stowage of cargo, mail, or supplies with the required knowledge on Dangerous Goods labelling and handling.

Addressed to

Personnel responsible for processing and accepting cargo presented as general cargo, as well as personnel responsible for handling cargo in the warehouse, loading and unloading unit load devices (ULDs), and loading and unloading aircraft cargo compartments.

Course Objective

At the end of the DGR training, participants will have the necessary knowledge to identify and classify dangerous goods, recognize and identify dangerous goods labels and package specification markings, take into account the provisions for dangerous goods in passenger and crew baggage, become familiar with dangerous goods emergency response procedures, understand the rules for loading, storage, and inspection, complete the NOTOC (Notification to Captain) for dangerous goods, and this training has been developed following a competency-based training and assessment approach in accordance with Chapter 7 of the IATA DGR Manual.

Minimum Duration

240 minutes

Final Assessment

At the end of the course, a final assessment or multiple-choice test is conducted. The student must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass. The student has two opportunities to successfully complete the assessment.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the assessment, you will receive a certificate via email. The certificate is valid for 24 months.
