Collection: Class 7: Radioactive substances

Class 7 hazard labels are used to identify radioactive materials classified as dangerous goods during transport. These substances emit ionising radiation, which can pose serious health and environmental risks if not handled correctly. Typical examples include medical isotopes, industrial radiography sources, nuclear fuel materials, research isotopes and certain sealed radioactive sources used in measurement and detection equipment.

Radioactive materials require strict control, specialised packaging and clear hazard communication. Class 7 labels ensure immediate recognition by carriers, warehouse operators and emergency responders, helping prevent exposure, contamination and regulatory non‑compliance. The standard Class 7 label features the trefoil radiation symbol, the number “7” and the required colour scheme defined by international transport regulations.

These labels are mandatory for the compliant transport of radioactive materials under IATA/DGR, ADR, IMDG, ADN and RID regulations, ensuring consistent identification across air, road, sea, rail and inland waterways.

Class 7 labels are essential for hospitals, medical imaging centres, nuclear facilities, laboratories, industrial inspection companies, logistics operators and any business handling or shipping radioactive materials.

We offer Class 7 labels in polypropylene (100×100 mm and 100×135 mm) and vinyl placards (250×250 mm and 300×300 mm), available with text, without text or customised on‑demand printing. Packs of 10, 50 and 100 units are available, as well as rolls of 250, 500 and 1000 to support all dangerous goods operations.
