Limited Quantities (LQ) labels are used to identify dangerous goods shipped in small quantities that qualify for reduced regulatory requirements under international transport rules. These shipments still contain hazardous materials but in limited amounts that present a lower overall risk, allowing simplified packaging and documentation while maintaining essential safety standards.

The LQ label features the distinctive black‑and‑white square‑on‑point design, ensuring immediate recognition by carriers, warehouse operators and emergency responders. This marking is mandatory for compliant transport of eligible limited‑quantity shipments under ADR, IMDG and IATA/DGR regulations, supporting safe handling across road, sea and air transport.

LQ labels are essential for e‑commerce fulfilment centres, logistics operators, chemical distributors, retailers, automotive suppliers and any business shipping small quantities of dangerous goods such as aerosols, paints, adhesives, cleaning products, solvents and consumer chemicals.
