Collection: Environmentally hazardous substances

Environmentally hazardous substances are classified as dangerous goods due to their potential to cause long‑term damage to aquatic environments, ecosystems and wildlife. These materials may be toxic to fish, plants or microorganisms, and even small releases can result in significant environmental impact. Typical examples include certain chemicals, pesticides, paints, solvents, industrial mixtures and various regulated liquids and solids transported under Class 9.

The environmentally hazardous substance label features the distinctive dead‑fish‑and‑tree symbol on a white background with a black border, ensuring immediate recognition by carriers, warehouse operators and emergency responders. This label is required for compliant transport under IATA/DGR, ADR, IMDG, ADN and RID regulations, supporting safe handling across air, road, sea, rail and inland waterways.

These labels are essential for chemical distributors, agricultural suppliers, industrial manufacturers, logistics operators, laboratories and any business handling or shipping environmentally hazardous materials.

We offer environmentally hazardous substance labels in polypropylene (100×100 mm and 100×135 mm) and vinyl placards (250×250 mm and 300×300 mm), available with text, without text or customised on‑demand printing. Packs of 10, 50 and 100 units are available, as well as rolls of 250, 500 and 1000 to support all dangerous goods operations.
