Aircraft Security Protection Training | AVSEC | 11.2.3.7 | E-Learning

Training of persons implementing aircraft protection, thereby meet the requirements of the European Commission and in particular Article11.2.3.7 (EU) n°2015/1998 (EC) n° 300/2008.

Upon completing this online training you will have the knowledge of: How to protect and prevent unauthorised access to aircraft Procedures for sealing aircraftt How to identify card systems used at the airport Procedures for challenging persons and of circumstances in which persons should be challenged or reported Emergency response procedures

All trainees need to pass a final exam in order to complete the security course.The minimum pass grade is 60%. If a trainee fails for the first time, he/she will be given a second attempt at the exam. If a trainee fails twice, he/she will have to retake the entire course.

Once the trainee has passed the final exam, he/she will be provided with a e-Certificate that can be printed. The certificate is then valid for 60 months at all airports of the Swiss Confederation.

Knowledge of the legal requirements for aircraft security searches
Knowledge of the configuration of the type(s) of aircraft on which the person is to implement aircraft security searches
Ability to identify prohibited articles
Ability to respond appropriately to the detection of prohibited articles
Knowledge of how prohibited articles may be concealed
Ability to implement aircraft security searches to a standard sufficient to reasonably ensure the detection of concealed prohibited articles
