¿Su transporte se acoge a alguna exención del ADR por carga, cantidad o tipo de transporte (1.1.3.6, cantidades limitadas, exceptuadas)?
La obligación de itinerario RIMP NO le aplica.

FAQ — RIMP (Spain)
What is the RIMP and who has to use it?
The RIMP (Red de Itinerarios para Mercancías Peligrosas) is the road network that vehicles carrying dangerous goods must use in Spain. It is set out each year by a Resolution of the Dirección General de Tráfico, under article 5 of Royal Decree 97/2014. If the origin and destination of the journey both lie within the network, the route must run on it. If one or both lie outside, you join and leave the network by the nearest entry or exit in your direction of travel, so that the distance covered on single-carriageway roads is as short as possible.
Does the RIMP apply if I carry under 1.1.3.6 or in limited quantities?
No. The Resolution states that the route rules do not apply when the carriage is performed under one of the exemptions in the ADR by reason of the load, the quantity or the type of transport. So if your load qualifies under 1.1.3.6, limited quantities (LQ) or excepted quantities (EQ), you are not bound by the RIMP. If you are not sure, work out the 1.1.3.6 points first.
May I leave the RIMP, or use a road that is not part of it?
You may leave by the nearest exit for journeys to or from the driver's habitual residence, to take the daily or weekly rest, to carry out repair or vehicle maintenance, or to reach the carrier's base — provided the ADR safety and security conditions are met in every case. Using a different road is another matter: the route must not run through built-up through-roads, or must take the least hazardous ones, and you must notify the regional Centro de Gestión de Tráfico at least 24 hours in advance. It coordinates with the Guardia Civil traffic unit and confirms whether the new route may be used.
Does this tool cover the whole of Spain?
It covers 14 autonomous communities: the 12 in the DGT Resolution, plus the Basque Country and Navarre, which publish their own resolutions in the BOE and are included here. Catalonia is not, because it runs its own network — the XIMP — and provides an official route calculator that issues a binding itinerary. For Catalan roads, use that one.
How long are these itineraries valid?
The Resolution of 14 January 2026 enters into force eight working days after its publication in the BOE and applies throughout 2026. It then stays in force until the 2027 Resolution takes effect, except for the restrictions tied to specific dates, which are set out in annexes I, II, V, VI and VIII. Check the current official text before relying on a route.
