Information

Everything you need to know

A 40 cm × 80 m roll of yellow chemical absorbent, pre-cut (perforated) every 25 cm. 80 metres = 32 m² = the equivalent of 160 pads of 40 × 50 cm.

  • Tear it by hand at the perforations into 40 × 25 cm pieces: no scissors, no waste.
  • Roll it out along aisles, benches and under machinery, or cut it to the length you need.
  • Three-layer SMS construction (spunbond, meltblown, spunbond).

Two versions

  • Standard: 58.5 L per roll, for drips and day-to-day maintenance.
  • Maxi: heavier middle layer, 91.6 L per roll, for larger spills and walkways. Also pre-cut lengthwise at 20 cm, so you can tear off narrower 20 cm strips for small areas.

Chemical range (yellow)

100 % polypropylene, hydrophilic and oleophilic: it absorbs water-based and oil-based liquids, including acids and bases. Yellow identifies the chemical range, for aggressive or hazardous liquids.

Before you use it

  • Check in the safety data sheet (SDS) of the spilled substance that polypropylene is compatible with it.
  • Do not use on hot surfaces: polypropylene melts at 160–175 °C.
  • Used absorbent takes on the hazards of the liquid it absorbed. Dispose of it as waste according to the SDS and local rules (when contaminated with hazardous substances, typically EWC code 15 02 02*).
  • For a large or unknown spill, move away and call 112.
