Who writes MYDG.SHOP
Our dangerous goods content is signed by the MYDG.SHOP team, not by an individual. That is deliberate: what backs a text here is not a personal reputation, it is the source cited and the method used to check it. This page exists so you can verify both.
The credential
The operation is led by a certified dangerous goods safety adviser (DGSA), and the team is IATA DGR trained. We publish neither the name nor the certificate number: a DGSA certificate is issued to a person, not to a company, and putting it online exposes the holder without giving you anything you could check for yourself. What you can check is the company — see below.
What we publish, and what we do not
Our tools and our texts assist the person who decides; they do not decide. Every result carries its source, with the paragraph and the edition, and the verb that fits: «under 1.1.3.6», «to be verified». Never «you may ship» or «this is compliant». Where there is a document, a named person signs it, and the notice is printed on the document itself, not only in a pop-up you dismiss. This is not commercial caution: a dangerous goods certification is signed by a designated person, and no software replaces that.
The material we work from
IATA DGR 67th edition for air transport; ADR, RID and ADN 2025 for land transport; the Emergency Response Guidebook 2024 and the public-domain NIOSH data for emergency response; and the official texts published by UNECE, by the Spanish BOE and by the competent traffic authorities where circulation restrictions are concerned. Where an answer has no source, we do not write it.
How long what we tell you holds
The circulation tools print the year of the data and the date it was checked against the official source. And once the calendar moves past that year, the tool warns you by itself instead of carrying on as though it still knew. We would rather fail loudly than be quietly right with stale data: these restrictions are not automatically rolled over from one year to the next.
If you find an error
Write to contact@mydg.shop, naming the tool or the article and, if you can, the paragraph of the regulation. We correct it and record the date of the correction. Error reports from people who work in the sector are the fastest route we have to getting better, and they are always welcome.
